Nano-Tech in Action

A short overview of how Nano-Tech nano-bubble ozone technology works.

The Nano-Tech Five-Stage Process

A paradigm shift in advanced oxidation powered by patented nano-bubble technology.

Step 1: Water intake. Water flows from a steel intake pipe into the Nano-Tech system.

Water Intake

Contaminated water enters the Nano-Tech system, where nano-bubbles are dispersed throughout the flow.

Step 2: Nano-bubble ozone delivery. Ozone (O3) carried inside stable nano-bubbles.

Nano-Bubble Ozone Delivery

Nano-Tech infuses ozone into the water as ultra-small, stable nano-bubbles. Each carries an O₃ payload and stays suspended far longer than conventional bubbles, extending ozone contact time.

Step 3: Contaminant isolation. Nano-bubbles surround a bacterium and other contaminants.

Contaminant Isolation

Negatively charged nano-bubbles are electrostatically attracted to contaminants such as PFAS, microplastics, bacteria, and organic compounds, surrounding and isolating them.

Step 4: Radical oxidation. Hydroxyl radicals break down a contaminant.

Radical Oxidation

As the ozone nano-bubbles decompose, they trigger O₃ + H₂O → •OH + O₂, releasing powerful hydroxyl radicals that react immediately with contaminants.

Step 5: Clean water output. Oxygen (O2) bubbles rise from clean water.

Clean Water Output

The contaminants are destroyed and treated water leaves the system. The only product residual is dissolved oxygen, with no harmful disinfection byproducts.

Why This Matters: The Differentiator

Hydroxyl Radical Power

Hydroxyl radicals are one of the strongest oxidants known to science—over 100,000 times stronger than chlorine, and 2,000× stronger than ozone alone.

Second only to fluorine in oxidative power, hydroxyl radicals exist for fractions of a second, reacting immediately with contaminants.

Precise Generation

Nano-Tech generates hydroxyl radicals precisely at the point of contamination—not in bulk solution. This ensures no oxidation potential is wasted.

Up to 10× longer nano-bubble contact time compared to conventional bubbles, extending ozone contact time.

What Nano-Tech Treats

Targets organic contaminants, plus PFAS, heavy metals and nutrients.

Organic Contaminants

  • Bacteria & pathogens
  • Viruses & biofilm
  • Algae & harmful algal blooms
  • Sewage & organic waste

Chemical Contaminants

  • PFAS (forever chemicals)
  • Pharmaceuticals & pesticides
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Microplastics & nano-contaminants

Nutrients & Heavy Metals

  • Nitrogen & phosphorus reduction
  • Heavy metals (e.g., arsenic)
  • Industrial waste contaminants
  • Metals reduction measured in laboratory sample

Treatment Advantages

  • No chemical residuals—oxygen only
  • No disinfection byproducts
  • Mechanism designed to avoid resistance buildup
  • No chemical changes to the water

How Hydroxyl Radicals Destroy Contaminants

Destroys Cell Nucleus & DNA

Hydroxyl radicals destroy the nucleus, DNA and protein layer of microorganisms, and this killing mechanism prevents bacterial resistance buildup.

Breaks Molecular Bonds

Destroys the functional groups within organic molecules—carboxylic acids, amines, sulfides, phosphates—completely dismantling contaminant structures.

Leaves Only Oxygen

The only residual byproduct is dissolved oxygen—no chemical footprint and no secondary chemical waste streams.

Residual Treatment Effect

Treatment benefits may continue for approximately 20 days post-application (at 45°C), depending on specific deployment conditions and water chemistry.
